A little bit about me

I started my photography journey with a phone and creativity. I have always enjoyed creating art and fell in love with the magic of my camera. I'm all about creating a comfortable environment where the camera is just part of the scenery but the memories are captured forever!

Where it all started


Growing up in Tennessee, I was always obsessed with nature and the beauty of God's Creation. My parents homeschooled me and my two siblings all the way through graduation. They raised me with a strong love for family and an even stronger love for God. 


I have loved the idea of owning a business since middle-school and have tried out several different ideas. I graduated with my Associate's Degree in Entrepreneurship in the spring of 2024 and am using the skills I learned to grow Maggie Alyse Photography!


Maggie Alyse Photography started in the Fall of 2021 when I was on the photography team at tutorial (school for homeschoolers haha). After that, I fell in love with taking photos and capturing special moments and Maggie Alyse Photography was born. Over the years, I have experimented, grown my skills, and found my love of creating authentic sessions that highlight my clients' unique qualities. Now, I primarily do Natural Light portrait and family sessions for the amazing community in Middle Tennessee.

Where are you from?


I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee, where I still reside to this day.

What is your favorite photography subject?


Senior photos. For sure. I love curating sessions to fit the personalities and styles of my seniors and I take great pride in giving them amazing photos they can have forever.

What camera do you use?


I am a Nikon girl! I currently use the Nikon D7500. I also love to use my grandfather's old Minolta film camera from when he was into photography!

What is a random fact about you?


I am obsessed with the color green, probably because I love nature. I wear green constantly and it drives my friends and family crazy hehe!!
